Another Ways To Do MBBS

Another way to do MBBS course is by studying abroad. Every year lakhs of students appear for the NEET exam.

Though they are able to clear the NEET exam, they miss the goal of getting admission in a good college in India. So the best option for them is to take admission in a good MBBS college in one of the foreign countries as per their context.

The second year of MBBS consists of Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology and Forensic Medicine. After that, for two more years of MBBS, there are clinical subjects which consist of preventive and social medicine, ophthalmology and ENT in the third year.

In the final year, students study medicine, surgery including orthopedics, pediatrics and gynocology and obstetrics. Then, the student will have to do a compulsory internship of one year at the end of the MBBS course.

Almost a similar pattern is for students who wish to study abroad, although the number of years may vary.

But AIIMS, JIPMER and AFMC conduct separate entrance exam for MBBS. To take admission in any medical college in India, students now have to pass the NEET entrance exam, only after that they get admission in MBBS course.
