JRF Full Form :
JRF full form full name is Junior Research Fellowship which we also know as ‘National Eligibility Test’ or UGC NET. This is an examination under the scheme of ‘University Grants Commission’ (UGC), in which the JRF itself conducts an open eligibility test for the students who have qualified for NET, UGC and CSIR and ICMR.
The purpose of conducting this examination is to provide degrees in humanities and social sciences including language and science to the students so that they can be appointed to the post of assistant professor in any government university and college.

Net JRF age limit:-
The age limit for the candidates to appear for the NET Jrf Paper has been decided according to the category. In this, the maximum age limit was fixed at 28 years for general category students. But after changing it later, the maximum age limit for general category students has been fixed at 30 years.
For all other categories of students, age relaxation is provided under reservation for NET JRF exam. Age relaxation will be given category wise for each category.

JRF Exam Pattern
In JRF, the exam is conducted for a total of two papers in two shifts. The first paper is of qualifying nature based on general comprehension. In Paper I, 50 optional questions of total 100 marks are asked. Candidates are given 1 hour to solve these questions.
In this questions related to Teaching Aptitude and General Awareness are asked. After this, the candidates who pass in this paper. Then another paper for determining the merit list of those candidates is checked.For which it is mandatory for the candidates to get 40 percent marks.
At the same time, in the second paper, 100 questions of total 200 marks are asked related to the subject. The total time allotted to the candidates is 2 hours to solve these questions.
